Colle Firata is a small family winery in Monferrato, an area of Piemonte that has always been devoted to viticulture. The estate lies on a hilltop surrounded by a magical landscape shaped by the culture of wine. The whole production process is carried out on the estate: all the grapes are handpicked from the two vineyards and the wines are entirely made and bottled in the winery with love and care. The vineyards' calcareous clay soil and their privileged exposure to the sun yield quality grapes that give rise to particularly rich and robust fine wines. Termidoro is a very structured Viognier aged in French oak barriques for 18 months. It is of a deep straw yellow colour with golden hues and its complex aroma includes notes of dried tropical fruit, acacia, lime blossoms, vanilla and cinnamon. Its intense round taste is balanced by a pleasant acidity and the finish is very long.

The Barbera Colle Firata is made from 100% barbera grapes and is aged in steel tanks for 6 months. It is ruby red in colour with purple hues. Aromas of cassis, cherry and plum are complemented by notes of carnation and clove. On the palate: red fruits, soft tannins, a medium acidity and a good length.

This nicely balanced blend of Barbera, Merlot and Freisa grapes is aged in steel tanks for 6 months. The colour is an intense ruby red with purple hues and the aroma is very pronounced including notes of red fruits (wild strawberries and raspberries), carnation, lavender, rosemary and pink pepper. Its fine and elegant taste is reminiscent of the fruity and spicy notes of the bouquet. The finish is long and pleasant.

Mediliano is a rich Barbera Superiore made from selected grapes and aged in new French oak barriques for 20 months. Intensely ruby red in colour, it has a strong aroma of ripe fruit, red berries and violet as well as spicy notes of cloves and cocoa. On the palate it is fine and intense, round and full-bodied, combining soft tannins with a crisp acidity. The finish is very long.

Vertumno is a robust Nebbiolo Superiore aged in new French oak barriques for 20 months. The colour is ruby red with garnet nuances and its complex aroma includes notes of violets and wild berries as well as cinnamon and cocoa. The tannins are silky and its fine and intense taste recalls the floral, fruity and spicy notes of the bouquet. The acidity is just right and the finish is very long.
